Drive to Wonchi Crater Lake via Woliso. Breakfast stopover at Woliso town. Drive close to 160Km to experience Wonchi Creator Lake, the lake located between Ambo and Woliso. Wonchi is an ideal place for trekker, alternative there is a horse to ride for those who do not walk to trek. Trekking for about 4 hours or horse riding starts at trial of Kala – 3300m above sea level – on the rim of the crater and takes you down to the Lake and the landing stage passing beautiful views and waterfalls along the way, from where you take a boat to the small island of Deber, visiting the monastery and Kirkos church a medieval period church. A further boat trip is recommended to the dramatic Emogil viewpoint, where you can observe the beauty of the lake. Enjoy the spectacular scenic view of the lake positioned in the middle of the surrounding ring hills covered by vegetation. Enjoy watching aquatic bird’s species around the lake. Day 2: Drive from wonchi to Addiss Ababa:
Visit Tiya and Melka Kunture Drive back to Addis Ababa.
