This tour takes travelers from Northern Ethiopia to South Ethiopia. The trip covers the prime historical attraction of the North with the add-on Addis Ababa , the capital city of Ethiopia. Then, end the trip south of Ethiopia where the main tribes, omo Tribes, are located.
Meet your guide at the hotel /upon arrival at Bole international airport. Check-in hotel, around 8, 00 AM Start the city tour with a visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, followed by a visit to the National Museum housed, Lucy aged 3.2 million years. Lunch at one of the restaurants perhaps Lucy. In the afternoon, go to Merkato, the biggest open-air market in Africa, then drive up to Mount Entoto , enjoy the panoramic view of Mount Entoto, and visit Entoto Maryam church and Menelilk II palace.

In the morning, fly north to Bahir Dar. Our diver meets you up on your arrival time transfers you to your hotel, and checks in at your hotel. Bahir Dar is the capital city of Amhara regional state and is known for its wide street & palm trees along the road. Today, you take a private boat to one of the island monasteries on Lake Tana. You may see Zege peninsula, which housed Ura Kidan mehert and Azewa Mariam churches. You could take a picnic in the town and have your lunch after the visit. Back to the island in the afternoon. You make relax and enjoy the lakeside in the afternoon or you may Go and see the Blue Nile Falls. The falls do not have plenty of water due to the government of Ethiopia used the water for hydroelectric power. However, if you come in the rainy season (June July & August) or immediately after the rainy season you could have a chance to see the falls with plenty of water and many falls.

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Gondar town through the beautiful Amhara village. On the road, see the local house, and optional tea breaks at Worta Town, of course, this is close to Bahir Dar. This experience will give you the opportunity to approach the Amhara local inhabitant’s lifestyle. Lunch in Gondar at your hotel. Upon arrival to Gondar, transfer to your hotel to check in and overnight. Overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast, start a tour of Gondar. Gondar was once the Capital of Ethiopian Emperors in the 16th century. The visit includes Faslides compound where you may experience half a dozen castles built by different emperors of the time. Also, Debre Birhan Selassie (thirty) church is another prime attraction of the area for its beautiful walled ceiling. If time allows you may see quesquam ruins. Tonight, you will have a traditional dinner at a traditional restaurant – three sisters’ Restaurant, also you will see the traditional dance. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive via Debark town onto Simien Mountains National Park. The Park is a registered UNESCO world heritage site and is known for its ranges of mountains and wildlife The park’s head office is located in Debark town, here, we met the team of scout, guide, and cook. From the car stop, we walk for 3-4 hours to the Sankaber camp site. Today, you will have engaged in an easy hike, and you will acclimatize altitude for the next day’s trek.
Overnight stay outdoors- camp at Sankaber.
Trek for 2.5 hours to 500m high Jinbar Waterfall. Along the way, you will observe the splendid landscape and different kinds of flowers and trees. There is also a possibility to see a Klipspringer and minileke bushbuck. There are leopards in the area but they are rarely seen, however maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones! Of course, the delightful gelada baboons are always around. After lunch meets the vehicle around the waterfall and drive back to Gondar. Overnight hotel.
Boarding on a short flight to Axum and being transferred to your hotel. Today you will have a full-day visit to the sites of Axum and the archeological museum, the Queen of Sheba’s palace, Ezana’s inscription, and King Kaleb & G/Meskel’s tomb. The afternoon continues to visit the St. Mary of Zion church, where the Ark of the Covenant is kept. Overnight in Hotel.
Take a morning flight to Lalibela, which is often terms an 8th-world wonder. After lunch, start your tour of the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, visiting the Northwestern Cluster of churches – Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael & Bet Golgotha (entry not permitted for women). Overnight in Hotel.
In the morning, take a trip to visit the church of Yimrehanne Kristos. The most popular churches are found outside Lalibela town. After the visit, return to Lalibela for lunch and, in the afternoon, visit the Southeastern Cluster of churches – Bet Gabriel-Rafael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Amanual, and Bet Abba Libanos. Finally, you will visit the most famous of all the churches – Bet Giyorgis. Overnight in Hotel.
In the morning, proceed to the airport for the return flight back to Addis Ababa.
In the afternoon- Fly from Addis Ababa to Arbaminch, and drive to Arbaminch. Short Boat trip on Lake Chamo. Drive to Konso. Overnight Kanta Lodge.
At 7:00 Am in morning Drive from Arbaminch to Turmi.If the Day is on Monday and Saturday there is Market Day which you can see the Hamer tribes, you may also see the Hamer village and their lifestyle. Also, you may see the Bull Jumping ceremony which will be held in the evening. Overnight Turmi Lodge.
Drive to Arbaminch, maybe going to the colorful Dimika Market at Dimkat village where the Hamer, the Karo, and the Dassanech people met and make. Take your own Lunchbox, and reach late afternoon Arbaminch. Overnight Paradise Lodge.
The flight departs from Arbaminch at 03:05 and arrives in Addis at 04:45.Fly to Addis, meet on arrival at Bole International Airport, and transfer to Hotel. Dinner at one of the best traditional restaurants with different Ethiopian traditional dances. Transfer to Bole International Airport for a flight home.
